Doll quilts are fun and easy to make. And because of that they are very rewarding since you can be proud of yourself for finishing something! It can take as little as one day to make.

This is the 9th quilt in our series of doll quilts. Finished size is 12 1/2″ x 15 1/2”.

The older I get the faster time seems to tick by. Like Einstein’s theory of relativity; if you are doing something you love, it seems that times passes quickly. If you are doing a loathsome job, time seems to creep along at a snail’s pace. When I am in my sewing room, I think I am in a wormhole and the time I have to spend quilting has simply vanished in a heartbeat. But when I move upstairs to do the laundry or cleaning I feel like there is no end to my work! I’m sure you can relate.

This simple hourglass pattern is quick and easy to make. You will find that you’ve finished it in no time at all! Enjoy!!
